The magazines are filled with faux fur vests this fall. I have commented in other posts about down vests and fur vests affect me the same way. On the east coast they would be considered a fashion element with a very short season. Try wearing one indoors with a turtleneck or flowy blouse and you will probably be too warm. Wear one outside and your arms are sure to get cold as soon as the mercury drops below 50 degrees. I think they are very cute but I think I will pass. They were abundant last year so the good news is, if you bought one you will get another year out of the trend. I am not a lover of faux furs anyhow although some of them are pretty good replicas. I have seen a couple of sheepskin vests that are cute, but again I would have to wear it every day this fall for it to pay for itself before I get too cold outdoors, or too warm indoors. Or……I could move to a different climate……

On second thought…these would be very practical in a ski lodge for apres ski!
