Working out is always a challenge when you are away from home or your favorite gym but it is not impossible. It is a good time to resort to new ways of getting exercise. I am enjoying brisk walks up here in Maine this week followed by squats, push-ups, burpees, planks, and lots of other functional movement patterns using my body weight. I did resort to jugs of water for a few lateral raises and arm curls which isn’t necessarily an original idea but useful nonetheless.

My walks are especially nice, breathing the fresh Maine air, not that I have been spared ragweed allergies. A brisk walk can give you just the time you need to provide a little clarity and optimism!
