Or…why I don’t play golf. Just kidding. It has been a long standing joke with my friends who play golf that I will consider taking up the game when I can be allowed to play in four inch heels. All kidding aside, women’s golf attire until recently has been known to be either masculine looking or adorned with Easter egg colored stripes and plaids. Maybe this was so as not to distract the male counterparts on the golf course. After all, it is a gentlemen’s sport. Fortunately, companies like Nike and Adidas have advanced to some more fashionable and functional clothing which is in part due to the advent of televised games where female pros are setting the trends for feminine golf attire. It still doesn’t solve the shoe problem, however. For me, the stiletto would be the best choice. When turned upside down it could double as a golf tee. See, it’s about form and function!
