Wouldn’t it be interesting if there were no numbers by which to measure oneself? People wouldn’t be afraid of the scale. Age wouldn’t matter. Shoes would be comfortable and clothing would always fit. Often people brag about going down a size in their clothing when they lose a few pounds. But how many people give in when they go up in size? Many people don’t actually know what size they would be if their clothes really fit. I have posted a picture to make my point. There appears to be a lot of junk in the trunk of this woman who is more than likely smaller than average but still a size 6 trying to convince herself that she is a size 2.This poor soul probably complains of having a muffin top when in actuality, her pants are just too tight. Go up a size and the muffin top disappears. Wallah! And she’ll look ten pounds thinner. When clothes fit, there is no need to defend what size you wear. Insignificant weight gains go unnoticed. Clothes that are allowed to drape over the body rather than cling to crevices and create bulges not only make the wearer look thinner, but are more comfortable. My point: don’t let clothes that are too tight do a “number” on you.
