The other day I went to the grocery store and there were at least three or four people there wearing their PJ’s. Have we become such a casual nation that we have abandoned getting dressed in order to perform the mundane chores of the day? Or have we resorted to placing more importance on dressing our pocket puppies? If one runs around all day in their pajamas, what do they change into before going to bed at night? I can’t help but wonder if they shower and then put on clean pajamas or if they even bother to do either. Where does the cycle start and stop? Do you suppose they have levels of PJ’s, like casual, dress, and “for good”? Or do those just come in the form of flannels, sweats, and track suits? Will bathrobes become the new coat? Speaking of track suits, the “for good” versions of those are embellished with sequins and jewels and are paired with perfectly white Reeboks. They adorn the runways of today. No, not those runways…..they may be seen on the red carpet at airports in every major city. I especially like the his and hers versions with matching fanny packs.
