One of the easiest forms of self expression is through fashion. All it takes is a little imagination and maybe some guts but it is meant to be fun and not taken too seriously. One doesn’t need a closet full of designer clothes and accessories to create combinations that could rival those of any stylist. It is okay to wear knock offs and less expensive versions of runway art. Some of my favorite finds have been in vintage shops, Goodwill stores and discount department stores. I enjoy a fashion challenge. It is good to appreciate fine things but it is also good to expose who you really are beneath the facade of labels and fluff. The right accessories can jazz up any outfit as long as you don’t become the label. I’m not suggesting that you make a dress from your curtains but it is disingenuous to wear couture when your bank account is empty. So have faith in the fact that you creativity alone will enable you to turn heads and really be seen!
