It really amuses me that the big news on Kate and Will’s trip to Canada is that Kate has actually been seen wearing a dress that she has previously worn. How unroyal! It is quite comforting to know that Kate has a thrifty side to her and that she might have some “common” practices when it comes to getting dressed. Kate just recently attended a wedding with her sister, wearing a dress that she had worn to a night club in 2007. Wow! A four-year-old dress at that! She was very clever at wearing it differently each time but she still got caught! The next day she was seen in a blue jacquard coat at a service to honor Prince Philip’s 90th birthday. She had been photographed in 2009 wearing the same coat!! Newsworthy as it is, this has given the writer’s plenty to chirp about. Imagine having a royal budget, with designers such as her favorite ISSA at your beckon call but settling for something once worn and photographed in! What a royal travesty!

I say “Kudos to Kate” for exercising such practicality and for being so relatable. Even though there is nothing like that first worn feeling, imagine NOT wearing something you loved and felt great in, simply because you had worn it before. I can’t wait to see what she recreates next!
